Stripe Billing
All payments in Alev-B are processed through Stripe — one of the world's leading payment providers. Alev-B does not see or store any payment data; credit card numbers and bank details are processed and stored exclusively at Stripe.

Payment Methods
Currently supported payment method:
- Credit card — Visa, Mastercard, American Express
Note: SEPA direct debit is currently not activated in the Stripe account. If you need an alternative payment method, contact support@alev-b.com.
Invoices
After each successful payment you automatically receive an invoice by email — to the email address stored in your account. Invoices contain all legally required information (VAT, invoice number, period).
All past invoices can be viewed and downloaded via the Stripe Customer Portal.
Stripe Customer Portal
The Stripe Customer Portal gives you direct access to your billing area — without going through Alev-B support. You reach it via Settings → Subscription → "Go to Billing". In the portal you can:
- Add or change payment method
- Download all past invoices
- Update billing address (for correct VAT invoicing)
- Cancel subscription
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time — either via Settings → Subscription → Cancel or directly in the Stripe Customer Portal. After cancellation your plan continues normally until the end of the current billing period. After that your account is reset to the Free plan.
Your data is retained after cancellation — even when you switch to the Free plan. Assessments that exceed the Free plan limits are not deleted but become read-only until you upgrade again.
Common Issues
Payment failed
Most common causes: (1) Card expired — update your card in the Stripe Customer Portal, (2) 3D Secure authentication pending — check your banking app or emails from your bank, (3) Insufficient limit — contact your bank. After resolving the issue, the next automatic payment attempt will be made within 24 hours, or you can pay manually in the Stripe portal.
Invoice missing or wrong billing address
Invoices are sent automatically by email — check your spam folder too. All invoices are also available in the Stripe Customer Portal (Settings → Subscription → Go to Billing). For a correct billing address: in the Stripe portal → Edit billing address. Already issued invoices can be corrected retroactively — contact support@alev-b.com for this.
Subscription is still active after cancellation
This is correct. After cancellation the subscription continues until the end of the paid period. You have full access until the period ends. Afterwards the switch to Free happens automatically. You receive an email notification 3 days before the actual expiry.
